Smart guides

A smart guide is a saved set of instructions for one job, for example "write an essay". Use one instead of writing a long prompt each time.

Use a guide

  1. Type / in the message box.
  2. Look under Smart guides, or search for a guide.
  3. Select a guide and send your message.

Examples of ready-made guides:

  • Write an Essay
  • Study Guide
  • Exam Prep Notes
  • Cram Sheet
  • Chapter Breakdown
  • Plain English
  • Make It Sound Human

Many guides write their result to a new page in your notes. Ask AI can also choose a guide for you when your request fits one.

Make your own guide

  1. Open the smart guides list and select New smart guide.
  2. Fill in Smart Guide Name, Description and Prompt.
  3. Optional: open Advanced options to set Search mode, Response length, AI model and Response language.
  4. Save the guide.

You can find your guides under My Guides, and the guides that you like under Favorites. You can also select Edit or Duplicate.
