Account and settings

The sections

• Account: your photo, Name, Username, Role and Bio. It also has Sign out from this device and Delete account. You cannot change your email here.
• Preferences: Interface theme (Light, Dark or System), AI Model and Voice.
• Study Space: your goals, streak, pace and reminders. See Study space.
• Notifications: see below.
• Personalization and Memory: see Memory.
• MCP: see Connect AI assistants.
• Subscription: your plan and next billing date. See Billing.
• AI Usage: your credits and recent use. See Plans and credits.

Notifications

For each kind of notification, you can choose In the app and By email. The kinds are Study reminders, Study sets, Study progress, Sharing, Inbox, Artifacts, Account and payments and Product news. You cannot turn off Account and payments.

Use Quiet hours to stop notifications at set times.

Delete your account

1. Cancel your subscription first. See Billing.
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Read the message, then select Confirm deletion.

Gistr removes your profile, preferences and settings, and all your saved collections, threads and sources. The deletion becomes permanent after 30 days, and you cannot undo it.
