An artifact is a file that Gistr makes from your sources. Use one to present, share or listen to what you learned.

Make an artifact

  1. Open a thread with at least one source.
  2. Open the + menu in the message box and select Tools. Or type /.
  3. Under Create, select the kind of artifact.
  4. Describe what you want, then send the message.

You can also ask in plain words, for example "make a 10-slide deck from this". Or open Artifacts in the thread and select + to see the options below.

Options

  • Dimensions: for example Wide 16:9 for slides, A4 for documents, or Stories 9:16 for social posts.
  • Text content: Minimal, Concise or Detailed.
  • Language, Tone and Image style.
  • Image source: for example AI generated, Free to use (web) or No images.
  • Podcast voices: one or two.

A presentation can have up to 50 slides.

Find and change an artifact

Each artifact stays in the chat where you made it, and in the Artifacts list of the thread. To change one, ask Ask AI in the chat, for example "make the title shorter". This uses credits.

Cost

AI credit usage varies by your selections. A longer artifact, or one with more images, uses more credits.

Frequently asked questions

An artifact needs a source to work from. Add a source to the thread, then try again.
