Frequently asked questions

Upload the PDF at the top of this page, or paste its text, pick a language and press the arrow. Copy the translation or download it as a TXT file when it is ready.

No. The output is plain text. Columns, tables, images and page design are not kept, so the text may also read in a different order on a complex page.

Check it first. An AI model writes it, and it can make mistakes, most of all with technical terms, names and numbers. It is not a certified translation, so do not use it where an official one is required.

A PDF can be up to 10 MB and 10 pages, but 10 pages is a maximum, not a promise. The real limit is about 30,000 characters of English, and fewer in non-Latin scripts such as Hindi, Tamil or Chinese. Pasted text has the same limit. If a document is over the limit, you get an error and no partial translation. Split it and translate each part.

Not in one upload. Split the file into short parts, then upload each part.

Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, Assamese, English, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

No. Leave it on Auto-detect and the tool works out the language from the text. You can choose it yourself if you know it.

Results are cached for up to 30 days, keyed by a hash of the file content and the languages you chose, so the same file with the same languages returns the cached result.
